Back when you were in diapers and wettin’ the sheets, I was at Designs by Rosa painting trompe l’oeil. The trees continued up over the ceiling, and the corner of the little bungalow in the painting fit snugly into the corner of the wind trap; expanding a tiny space. These old photos don’t do it justice, but if you look in the doorway on the left, you can see the second cat was on the stone path leading to the red steps.
I kind of got my start in caricatures. My first job out of high school was drawing cartoon portraits for a long dead Six Flags in Houston called Astroworld. These few photos are the evidence thousands of caricatures I drew in the 20 century…Many many were terrible…a few sublime.
