Another course we designed was Organizational Behavior. 1. is about how an organization is more than the sum of its parts. 2. deals with the notion that modern organizations work best if those in charge impart information and ideas to their employees. 3. shows us that ideas can come from any level. 4. shows how some folks put themselves (or their race) on a pedestal. This keeps them locked away from all kinds of ideas, beliefs and behaviors that would benefit them. I didn’t realize I had thrown so many light bulbs around.
ABC Bakery was our go-to fictional business when dealing with specific examples. For those of you who’ve noticed my designs are a tad more conservative and family friendly than usual with the Accounting 101 course, note the third panel here. Most of the shots we had to make for this class were all about forms. Boom!
I’ve now been working for 16 months on interactive college courses; designing and animating. Last year I posted designs from the first course we created completely in house at Ketchum. Those posts were for Sociology 101. For the next few days I’ll show some designs from another class I worked on; Accounting 101.
