Foundations of Reading and Writing…When teaching folks to write an essay, its important to involve a lot of gibberish. Here we chose Latin to keep the focus on the big picture and not the specifics. Introduction paragraphs should have 1. a hook, 2. background, 3. your focus, and 4. the thesis statement. The conclusion should include 1. a reworded thesis statement, 2. more background, and 3. a kicker…There’s probably more, but you get it.

Its the album that never happened! Designed by the famed Pedro “Captain Drawski” Bell, who’s work has adorned the covers of Parliament Funkadelic albums since the ’70s. Years later, when I was working at Titmouse, I got to meet Clinton on a music video shoot, and he said that the head of that label skipped town (D.C.) with all the loot.
