Meet Christian. He’s a horticultural genius with a knack for growing herbs. In The Green Goddess, an indie feature from director Craig Nisker, he’s the modern farmer who moves to Europe to grow his crops legally. The film is live action, but this is my version of the character we animated at LA LA for the intro sequence.
Here’s another drawing that got used in “The Green Goddess” in the Amsterdam sequence…Its a portrait of my buddy, Judah, back in Chicago. What a character.
This cute little fellow made an appearance in the movie “The Green Goddess”, an indie flick I’ve posted sample from before on this blog, when I was called upon to hide the identities of a number of folks in Amsterdam. Director, Craig Nisker was ready to use smiley faces, but was delighted to see that I had tons of funny old sketchbooks full of characters to track over peoples’ heads. Using AfterEffects, I slipped over 50 drawings into the movie.
More from The Green Goddess…Have a nice day.
Did the color give it away? That’s right. More from The Green Goddess…
